Project drafts and generator settings are stored in IndexedDB in this browser until you delete them.
You do not need an account to generate and export QR codes.
PNG, PDF, and ZIP files are created during your browser session.
QRillion is a batch QR code generator for creating multiple QR codes and exporting PNG, SVG, ZIP, or PDF files.
QR payloads, uploaded logos, and imported CSV/XLSX files are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to a QRillion application server during normal use.
Project drafts, imported row data, and generator settings are stored in the qrillion-local-projects IndexedDB database when local projects or autosave are used. The qrillion-pwa-install-dismissed preference in localStorage records whether the install prompt was dismissed.
Local data remains on your device until you use the in-app clear action or clear site data in your browser. Project JSON is only read or downloaded when you explicitly choose import or export. The offline service worker caches public app-shell files, not generated QR payloads or project data.
The hosting provider may process standard request logs, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, response status, and timestamps, for delivery, security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Log retention and location depend on the production hosting provider.
QRillion does not intentionally place QR payloads in server logs. Do not include sensitive payloads in page URLs or support messages.
QRillion uses open-source client-side libraries including qrcode, pdf-lib, JSZip, and read-excel-file to generate and import files. These libraries run in your browser and do not receive data as separate services.
No analytics, advertising, payment, authentication, or third-party file-processing service is enabled. Analytics will not be added without an appropriate consent mechanism and an update to this policy.
We use reasonable security practices, but no browser application is risk-free. Keep your browser updated and be careful with sensitive content because anyone who receives an exported QR code or project file may be able to read its payload.
Please report suspected vulnerabilities through the security address on the Contact page and avoid accessing other users’ data or disrupting the service.
We may update this policy when QRillion changes how it stores, processes, or shares data. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
